Design comparison tables for vehicles, plans and options without sacrificing mobile usability.
Tables are best for repeated attributes
A comparison table is useful when the same criteria apply across several options: passenger capacity, luggage, included features, plan limits or service availability. If each option has unique descriptive content, cards may be easier to read.
Highlight the row and column labels clearly so users do not lose context while scanning.
Use emphasis sparingly
Bold values and recommended badges can guide attention, but every cell should not compete for emphasis. Highlight only the attributes that matter most to the choice.
Plan the mobile version early
Wide tables can become unusable on phones. Options include horizontal scrolling with a clear cue, stacked comparison cards, or reducing the mobile table to the highest-value attributes and linking to full detail.
Check colour combinations
Never allow table text to become invisible because a desktop colour scheme was inherited into a different mobile or dark-section background.
